About the Illustrator

Is the Secret Safe children's book illustrator Adelaide

Born and raised in Adelaide into a large creative extended family, Jasmine has always displayed a love and talent for various forms of the arts including drawing on canvas and digital forms.  

From a very early age she showed a passion for reading and in later years in creative writing.  In addition to these wonderful talents she also plays trombone, piano and the Welsh harp. Her influences come from her love of all things Japanese.

Jasmine is currently studying year 12 with an aim to study Genetics and Japanese at University. She aspires to uncover some of the perplexing genetic causes of our most difficult to treat diseases. Perhaps one day she may find a treatment or even a cure for some of today’s big health issues. 

In her spare time she likes to experiment in various creative media, exploring different techniques and styles.  Jasmine hopes to develop her many talents and enjoys the challenge of new opportunities as they arise.
